We're pleased to introduce the Panel of Judges for the 2005 Pemberton Templeton 48-Hour Novella-Writing Contest:
C.E. Coughlan is an Associate Editor at Geist magazine and is published in Geist, the anthology Emerge, and in the fall 2005 issue of Grain magazine.
Kel Morin-Parsons holds a PhD in Renaissance English literature and has taught in the disciplines of English and Theatre at the University of Ottawa. She is managing editor of the poetry magazine Arc, and sits on the executive of the Canadian Association of Irish Studies. Kel is active in the Ottawa theatre community, and is involved in various literary projects for theatre and film.
Olga Stein received an MA from the University of Toronto in Political Theory and Political-Economy. She became involved in medical publishing in 1990, and took over as manager, art director and production editor of Books in Canada in October 1995. She was line and copy editor and the creative director of the medical publication Geriatrics and Aging for a year in 2000, and in 2001 she relaunched Books in Canada and became the chief editor. She continues to be the editor of the magazine, with the assistance of poetry editor, Carmine Starnino. Olga Stein also does the cover art work. She enjoys quality novels by writers from all over the world.
